One of the main benefits of composite bonding is that you won’t have to deal with the restrictions of orthodontics like cosmetic braces. You do have to take care of the composite bonding material in the same way that you have to take care of your own teeth. In the same way that strong coloured food and drink can stain your natural teeth, they can also stain the composite material. In fact, composite material is more susceptible to chips and discoloration than your natural teeth because of the material used, so you have to be especially careful when it comes to coffee, red wine and crunchy foods.

Veneers

There are a variety of veneers you can have, and each has its own benefits, though, in general, they all have a similar purpose. We offer porcelain and composite veneers at our facility.

Composite veneers: Consist of a layer of composite material covering the tooth, effectively providing you with durable (but still temporary) teeth.

Porcelain veneers: Much longer-lasting than composite veneers, but they do require the tooth’s enamel to be removed in order to be fitted and are more expensive as a result.

The beauty of cosmetic braces is that you’re able to retain one hundred percent of your natural tooth while they’re being straightened. If you’re not a fan of the metal appearance, you can opt for Clear X Aligners as an entirely invisible alternative. In general, braces cost approximately £2,500, and the clear aligners are significantly cheaper at around £1,500.
